mmm ele my favorite class. dont care what anyone says
well my current nuker build for e/me in pve is as follows:
att pts:
12 in fire+sup rune=15 in fire
8 in earth
10 in energy storage +1 from all seeing eye+1 from minor rune
i also have a major vigor rune, sup if you can afford it.
weapon: Rago's flame staff
skills:
-arcane echo(for echoing long recharge spells)
-meteor shower(far superior to fire storm, as it knocks down)
-fireball(lower energy cost, still does significat dmg)
-immolate(low recharge time, castable on mutiple targets)
-elemental attunment
-fire attunment(these two attunments together give you 80% of the energy cost back each time you cast a fire spell)
-ward against foes(i put a few pts in earth and use this to slow down the enemies further for the metoer shower)
-res sig
i take that exact build into the UW/FOW except for a couple notable differences:
i change my secondary to e/mo and then use that exact build except for instead of elemental attunment i use glyph of renewal(for echo nuking), and i bring rebirth instead of a res sig. areas like that just call for a hard rez imo, you never know
as for a farming build, earth eles are the way to go:
e/mo
attributes:
12 earth+sup rune=15 earth
10 energy storage +minor rune+all seeing eye=12 energy storage
8 in healing prayers
weapon: Milius's Pillar
skills:
-kinetic armor(makes you a super tank)
-armor of earth(more armor if you attract to many)
-stone daggers(spam to keep up kinetic armor)
-crystal wave(dmg spell)
-earthquake(follow up with after shock for massive damage)
-aftershock(see above)
-healing hands(for gaining some life back every once in awhile, trust me..)
-earth attunment(duh.)
*this build can farm sand drakes, griffins, minatour...dunno what else. thats about all i've tried.
hope i could be of help. message me on the boards anytime if you need help with eles, i love to play em'

Thanks Alot for the help
Is there No Elementalist/Mesmer Build for Underworld rather then changing to Ele/Mo.
What do they need more for a Ele/Me at Underworld? Nuker or what?

No one never wants an Elementalist for Underworld these days. It makes me very, very sad
Basically tho it would be the..*swallows hard* Fire Nuker again...cause no one has a way of wanting to try other things.

Wait, don't generalize. I use my E/Mo for Martyr-ing, general buffing, so on.
Then again, I might be one of the only ones
Okay, I'll give my build. It's not brilliant. Supplementary, at most.
E/Mo
Energy Storage: 10 +1 +1
Air Magic: 8 +1
Water Magic: 8 +1
Healing Prayers: 10
Gale
Blurred Vision (Usually I use it for PvP as this is a PvP build, usually...)
Ice Prison
Heal Party
Martyr
Restore Life
Windborne Speed
Heal Other

this is a good ..only one problem..you cant get Elemental Attunment till Perdition Rock..and by that time you are just a couple missions from end game.
What I am looking for is an Ele/Mesmer build that uses skills available to you up to Augury Rock

I glyph MS without Ele Attunement, so I would think you can get away with AEchoing it easily - Just cast AEcho ~5 seconds before a fight begins.
BTW, if I were AEchoing MS, I'd bring along Glyph of Sacrifice to cut down on the 5 second cast.

This one is good.
Fire magic 12+3+1
Energy Storage 12+1
Skills:
Fireball
Rodgorts Invocation
Meteor (Shower)
Arcane Echo
Echo [Elite]
Fire Attunement
Aura of Restoration
Ress. Sig.
I use this one in PvP for quick kills, but its not so good in PvE because of the long recharge time of the skills.

*cough* you're not a pro if you're using fire *cough*
only in pve is it... viable.
i usually go earth:
13/14/15 earth
8Insp/10BeastMastery
rest in estorage
Sliver Armor/Armor of earth
Churning Earth/Eruption
Earth Attunement
Unsteady Ground {E}/Ferocious Strike {E}
Energy Tap/Charm Animal
Drain Ench/Ether Sig/ Comfort
Ward Against Melee
Rez
so ya... its more of a utility to save people with the wards and aggro the enemies away from the monks with sliver armor/earth on... but its fun none the less
Water is also nice, giving you ward against harm... one of the best ele elites. also deep freeze, my fav ele spell, and many others if they knew how to use a snare...

so you're looking for a build to go through the game with, ie without elites? I played fire through most of the missions, and basically just used something like this:
Fireball
Immolate (sp?)
inferno
meteor swarm
aura of restoration
rez
and I played mesmer secondary, so I threw in a couple skills frmo the inspiration line for energy management and self heal. The idea with this build is pretty simple. Fireball and immolate are the spammable spells, inferno is when mobs get close to you, meteor swarm for groups of mobs, and then energy manage and self heal.

i use this modified geotank build for hydra/drake farming. its highly effective and with practice you can aggro 8 hydras ata time if you can round them up lol)
Max Earth (headpiece + sup rune)
Max energy (minor rune)
Kit
Galigords Staff or similar +20% enchantment staff
Skills
[skill]Stone daggers[/skill][skill]Kinetic Armor[/skill][skill]Armor of Earth[/skill][skill]Obsidian Flame[/skill][skill]earth attunement[/skill][skill]Ward of stability[/skill][skill]Ether Renewal[/skill][skill]Aura of Restoration[/skill]
Tactics
This build is very good at farming melee mobs such as hydras but very little use for anything else.
just before aggro get kinetic armour, armor of earth, aura of restoration and earth attunement up then aggro with stone daggers to keep kinetic going. if you are fighting hydras get ward of stability up or you will get KD'd and interupted by their meteors. groups of up to 3 you can take down with just stone daggers as you wont take more than 10 damage from their spells and about 3 points for their melee attacks. aura of restoration is a sufficent self heal in these circumstances.
more than 3 and you will need your bigger spells to take them out quicker, and make use of ether renewal only when you have all enchantments up and spam stone daggers for its duration for 15 energy and 90 health per stone dagger cast. you should get 5 casts before renewal expires giving a total of 75 energy and 450 health over 7 seconds. this should easily be enough to refill your health and mana pools.

This is just my build, I like it, it's a good spiker, but I don't know if it's what you're looking for.
[skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill][skill]Elemental Attunement[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Immolate[/skill][skill]Glowing Gaze[/skill][skill]Rodgort's Invocation[/skill][skill]Incendiary Bonds[/skill][skill]Meteor Shower[/skill]
Your primary spike comes from casting Incendiary Bonds then Rodgort's Invocation on your primary target, then alternating between Immolate and Rodgort's Invocation, using Glowing Gaze as a filler and energy buff whenever needed. If you're fighting a monk boss, start with Meteor Shower, then use Incendiary Bonds and then Rodgort's Invocation. If the monk doesn't move (which it usually doesn't, it's AI, come on), by the time Rodgort's Invocation finishes casting they'll get hit by Meteor Shower a second time, and Incendiary Bonds will also set itself off offering a nice spike in the area of ~300 dmg.
